Technically Speaking, What Are Some Issues with Rapid Technology Adoption by the State?

Over the past decade, the Indian state has adopted several diverse forms of technology for a number of uses, from public service delivery to maintaining law and order. But this rapid adoption, especially in the context of weak legal backing, is often not nearly as effective as it should be. This technology is also often misused by those in power.
