#Dialogues: Reforming Sports Quotas in India With Nandan Kamath

In the first part of our #Dialogues series on sports quotas, Nandan Kamath from GoSports Foundation, The Sports Law & Policy Centre and LawNK spoke about the essence of the sports quota system and the current issues that restrict its potential. Following the same vein, in our second video, Mr. Kamath explores the multitude of approaches that can be taken to ensure that the system can be made more effective and equitable. From recognizing the role of Open Universities to acknowledging the need for allied vocational programs around sport, he dives into certain specific reforms within our education system that can result in an athlete and student-friendly environment. In a nutshell, this interview examines the necessary educational and Government reforms required within the Indian sports quota ecosystem.
