In any field of work, especially in the public edu In any field of work, especially in the public education system, creating digital content for professional capacity building has two major aspects to it; one that focuses on creating digital content using softwares and the other is finding a way to make the content engaging and interactive for users. In the absence of either of these aspects, digital content could be deemed unfit to its prospective users. A technological intervention in Maharashtra is exploring how digital content can transform the education system.

Young changemakers have the skills and the motivat Young changemakers have the skills and the motivation to change the field of law and justice for the better. The youth are initiating entrepreneurial initiatives to seek and make justice for themselves and their communities. Ashoka's Law For All Initiative's impact study traces the journeys of these young changemakers and uncovers the inspirations, methods, and hurdles in their social entrepreneurial journeys across India.

This is the first story in a four-part collaboration with Ashoka’s Law for All Initiative, highlighting insights from their work with partners and collaborators who strengthen young changemakers’ innovations in law and justice space across India. Law for All is one of the strategic focus areas for Ashoka in South Asia.

The government has been rolling out several policies, regulations and tenders to encourage private investments. In recent times, these projects have overlooked citizen inputs and the environment. Lack of effective due diligence and safeguards could result in the concentration of India's public assets in the hands of a few leading to the exploitation of common people and small investors. More than ever before, there is a need for legal, regulatory, and conflict resolution systems.

This article is the first of #FinancingDevelopment, a series analysing the finances behind India’s development journey, in collaboration with the Centre for Financial Accountability.
