When talking about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, mainstream media often forgets to talk about vulnerable citizen groups. One such group whose absence from the COVID-19 conversation has been glaring, is sex workers.
From livelihoods to a shortage of food and medicines, to managing to keep a roof over their head, the pandemic has wreaked havoc on the lives of these citizens. To try and understand more about this, we spoke to three members of the All India Network of Sex Workers, from Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.
